A deep amber ale with a rich and smooth flavor. Malty undertones of vanilla and caramel are kept in check with the addition of Magnum, Golding and Fuggles hops.

Pours a nice substantial brown, not overly thin like so many in style, carbonation on point, 1/2" tan head. Aroma had a mild hop and brown malt current.
Taste imparted some roast, some hops, decent stuff for style. This is a introductory transitionary beer for those getting away from BMC AAL's for sure, does nothing bad.

Look: Pours a very light brown, almost and reddish amber color. Not much head produced.
Smell: Very malty with a caramel aroma.
Taste: A nice sweet caramel flavor with a roasted malt finish.
Feel: Refreshing, medium bodied and smooth.
Overall: Good all-around beer.

08/28/13 On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. As advertised the cherry & currant tastes are there but in a most complimentary way. Great lacing...always a good sign. I like this very much. Methinks it would befit all seasons.
