12oz bottle in a stemmed tulip pint glass.
A-Hazy, unfiltered, copper-orange color. A touch of amber. The pure white head, 1-plus finger, lasts and leaves big fat sticky rings of lacing.
S- Hoppy; floral and citrus. Some caramel malts.
T- Strong hop flavor of citrus, earthy pine, floral. Some malty sweetness and lasting herb.
M- Very clean. Lots of malt gives it good body, hops give a semi-dry finish. earthy hop bite.
O- Good beer, with the right hops and bitterness for the style. Drinkable at 6.5% abv.

Otter Creek Brewing / Wolaver's - Wolaver's India Pale Ale, poured into DFH Spiegelau IPA glass.
Look - Pours a cloudy orange with an amber hue and a big bubbly head that dissipates quickly and leaves chunks of lacing. Bubbly. Some retention.
Smell - Aroma is almost more of an IPL than IPA at first, but I was patient and pulled out the more subtle aromas by gently disturbing the brew. Hops are juicy citrus, some slight sour breadiness from the Munich malt, hint of sweet as well.
Taste - Rich caramel malt, almost creamy, then spice(s), then citrus and some piney hop bitterness. The taste itself was all over the place and confused me a little, but I wasn't cringing.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied and creamy with a dryness about it that makes it crisp and refreshing. Zero booziness and great drinkability. This was the strong suit of this brew by far.
Overall - A well balanced organic offering from a solid but not overly remarkable brewery. Definitely enjoyed and recommend for fans of a smoother IPA.
