12 oz. brown bottle poured into pint glass. 12/08/07 stamped on bottle neck. Lot #2222. This was the last of three beers I received in a beer of the month club.
Appearance: copper colored body with a slightly off-white foamy pillow soft head. Carbonation ascends in lines off the bottom of a very clean, clear and refreshing looking beer. Nice sticky lacing all around the glass.
Smell: toasted grainy bread crusts and sweet caramel malts along with grassy hops.
Taste: bready cereal grains, sweet honey toast are met by bitter hops at the finish.
Mouthfeel: dry and crisp on the tongue with complimenting carbonation on the light side of medium body.
Drinkability: everything about this beer sets off good drinkability. Refreshing looking, clean scents
and tastes, along with relatively low alcohol. I'll seek this out again.
