The appearance was a cloudy orange colored body with a small one finger white head that quickly dissipated into the body. No carbonation is seen rising. No lacing is left. The smell had the allspice and ginger up front with the pumpkin coming in behind it. The taste balanced sweet malty pumpkin with the allspice and ginger coming in together. The aftertaste is bitter. The palate was about a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. Overall, this was not a bad pumpkin being that its organic.

From the bottle, it pours a orangey amber with a moderate head with BIG bubbles, dissipating to a light foam in short order. Some pumpkin pie spices in the nose (very light) and mouth. Enjoyable.

Poured into a snifter.
3.0 A: Murky amber brown color. One finger of frothy off-white head. Retention is below average and a few wisps of lacing are left.
3.75 S: Good balance of pumpkin and spices. Nutmeg and allspice are most prominent with cinnamon pulling up the rear. Toasty malts with a caramel backbone. Fairly simple by pumpkin beer standards, but has everything you want.
3.75 T: Like the nose, this isn't very intense, but it tastes good and has great balance. Good pumpkin flavor, spices per above. Caramel and toastiness.
3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth.
4.0 D: This doesn't get a lot of love, but I really like it.

My favorite pumpkin beer. Just the right hint of pumpkin and spice, very drinkable. Love Wolaver's selection.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This murky red amber ale has a very small white head. The aroma is almist non existent and the flavor has almost zero pumpkin flavor. Not a good pumpkin ale.

One of the best pumpkin beers I have ever had. REAL pumpkin flavor. It even smells like a freshly cut pumpkin, bringing you right to those Halloween days. For me, this beer is second only to the king, Pumking!
