A-pours an orange amber color with an off white head with average retention
S-pumpkin, spice
T-more pumpkin, nutmeg, all spice, cinnamon, the standard pumpkin pie spices. Definitely a brewed pumpkin flavor and not an artificial type of flavor.
M-medium bodied, good amount of carbonation
O-Its a different pumpkin ale and I really enjoyed it. The fact that the pumpkin doesnt taste artificial made the beer much more drinkable . Spices were very well balanced. (461 characters)

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a pretty, cloudy, orange/brown color, with a quarter of a finger of white head that quickly dissolved into a thin halo of foam that gripped the sides of the glass and formed a few wispy clouds that gathered in the center of the top of the beer.

Aroma: Very fruity and spicy. Lots of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices, such as clove, cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg and brown sugar. However, I get next to nothing in the way of hops.

Taste: Fruity and citrusy up front, showing lots of pumpkin and surprisingly, lemon. Next comes some spice notes of clove and nutmeg. Finally, the beer finishes with some good malt notes, but has next to nothing of hops, which I much prefer. This beer is surprisingly more tart than sweet. Original and interesting.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with a pretty good amount of carbonation to not only tickle the taste buds, but wake them the hell up! With an ABV of only 5.35%, there is absolutely no alcohol on the palate.

Overall: This is a pretty good pumpkin beer. I like the tartness and the pumpkin flavor. As stated above, it’s both original and interesting. (1,163 characters)

Served in a bottle at Pilsener Haus in Hoboken, NJ

A: Pours a crystal clear dark orange/copper to amber in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has quarter finger tall off-white head that quickly fades to a very thin film covering about half the surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), and caramel malts.

T: Light to moderate flavors of pumpkin with moderate flavors of pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon and nutmeg) that intensifies as the beer warms ups. There are some very light notes of caramel malts with just a touch of sweetness.

M: Light to medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Easy to drink and enjoyable but not as good as some of the other offerings in the style. (869 characters)

Retired? Are you sure? Date on bottle says 06-25-14. Early for a Pumpkin Ale, I must say.... But it doesn't seem to be retired.

Look: Pours a deep copper color

Smell: Pumpkin pie is the first thing that comes to mind. Cinnamon, nutmeg. The smell of dessert at Thanksgiving... in July.

Taste: Very nice, and subtle pumpkin pie flavor, with a maltiness flavor. Very little hop bitterness.

Feel: Medium bodied, smooth carbonation.

Overall: Great beer. Subtle pumpkin sweetness, and not overbearing. (504 characters)
