On-tap 8/6/13 at Doherty’s Ale House in Warwick, RI, served in a tapered mug glass.

A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a large foamy off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains grassy hops, light caramelized malts and fruity citrus.

T: The taste starts with a quick burst of piney hops bitterness. Then some citrus and caramel sweetness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.

A-hazy orange amber color with a smallish white head and a little lacing

S-citrus, malt, slight floral, slight yeast

T-citrus, orange, bready malt, light pine and floral, mild bitter finish

F-medium body with moderate carbonation, crisp

O-nothing stands out here, but a nice session ale for sure

12 oz bottle poured into a nonic.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a half finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma is full of citrus hops.

First sip is a nice rush of grapefruit hop flavor, but it quickly drops off. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin/watery side. Could use a touch more sweetness or something to increase the body.

This is interesting to have a low ABV hoppy beer, however, I don't think it is an improvement over a regular IPA or APA. Good beer to switch to later in the night.

I poured this beer out of a Bottle into a Pint glass. Served cool.

Very nice sunset yellow appearance and a white head

Smells very sweet and floral

Slightly hoppy in relation to the mall nothing overpowering

Medium to light mouth feel

This is not a bad beer per se however doesn't seem to be hopped enough with American hops. I just don't get the sense it's a good fit style-wise

Poured into a pint glass.

3.75 A: Moderately hazed yellow brown color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is very good and a decent amount of lacing is left.

3.5 S: Pleasantly hoppy with floral and citrus notes. Neutral maltiness with a touch of yeasty breadiness. Good.

3.75 T: Pretty much tastes like the nose. Floral and citrus hop flavor. Mild bitterness. Neutral malts and a touch of yeast. Super refreshing.

4.25 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Very nice creaminess.

4.0 D: Tasty and super easy to drink. Very good beer.
