Thanks to millerbuffoon for this.
A - Pours a medium hazy, copper gold color with a minimal head, the beer clears as it warms up.
S - Grapefruit, citrus, tangerine, and cat pee with no alcohol aroma whatsoever.
T - Really outstanding with a dominating resiny presence from start to finish: pine, tangerine, red grapefruit, mangos, and some oranges with a subtle malt base underneath. Hop resin from start to finish with a nice pine/citrus bitter lingering bite to finish but perfectly balanced from the start and through the middle. When the hops eventually die down on the palate your mouth is left with a resiny coating of orange/tangerine with light grapefruit and it lingers for a good long time.
M - Thick, medium body that's borderline chewy for a D-IPA.
O - Taste more than makes up for the not so stellar aroma, I'm not into cat pee. Very much a big IPA from the Northeast with a lot of character similar to Lawsons, Hill Farmstead, or a Heady, kudos to Otter Creek on this recipe collaboration as well. This beer reminds me of Double Sunshine for some reason...(go figure)... Very East Coast and very delicious. This beer is all about the resiny hops.
