This is an awesome place to sip on a beer while in Sevilla. It is located on a side alley near the cathedral. They have a great beer selection, especially considering that Spain is not known for its beer. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and will help you pick out a beer that is not Cruzcampo. I definitely spent a lot of time in this bar while studying at the University, which is nearby. They have a great assortment of German and Belgium beers, and also a whole lot of fruit flavored beer.

This place was dead when I went in there (this review is from 2008, found some ancient travel notes). It was also very odd because the bartender was from some ex-soviet country, and I remember thinking to myself how odd it was that we were speaking Spanish to eachother, when our first languages were extremely different from eachother.

Anyways, I really don't recall the selection being all that extraordinary. I'm definitely not a major Cruzcampo fan, but I never crossed the line that the cynical American haters did. It became known as "Cruzasco." (If you speak Spanish, you will get it).

I guess this place is worth going. Definitely a safer and less crowded bet than any of the shit holes on Calle Betis.

The signs for Bass caught my eye when I was here on holiday. I realized I had a deficiency of vitamin hop at the time. Then I realized they had a huge selection of Belgian, German and English beer, along with quite a few Spanish brews. You'll only find macros from the US. It has one of the biggest selections in the country probably. The tapas were also pretty bomb. The only reason I rated 4 on quality is because my Bass was a bit old and had spoiled. You'll probably be craving good beer if you're in Seville so you should definitely hit it up.
