The owners do this liquor store are shady. I unfortunately purchased out dated skunk beer from them and they gave me crap when I wanted to return it. I had to prove to them that it was out dated. Then they did not pull the rest of the batch of beer from the shelf. Then today I purchased a 10 pack of liqueur coffe shots. When I opened the box someone had opened the packaging in the box used one of the shots and then returned it. They put the rest of opened box back on the shelf for resale so I only got 9 shots instead of 10. This place sucks. Go somewhere else. I will never return to this cheap ass liquor store again. And the woman working there has disgusting hair.

I love Joe's Place. They have a nice selection of beer, and are willing to break the six packs so you can try one. They also have a build your own six pack station where you can choose from the already loose beer. The staff is more than willing to give suggestions and seem very knowledgeable This is definitely my goto place for beer in Norman.

This is my closest liquor store... well closest that isn't a store front next to a gas station at least. The beer selection is alright, although they tend to run out of the good stuff fairly quickly. I have also purchased kegs here, which is a fairly seamless process, but a bit too pricey for my liking (but you can blame OK laws for that mostly). Their wine/liquor selection is also decent... they pretty much pack as much as they can into the smallish space they are provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they try and keep themselves as knowledgeable as possible to the newest offerings. They also try and feature some of the rarer items (beer/liquor/wine) right up front so they are easy to find.

At first I was worried, the place has bars on the windows and doors like you see in the ghetto liquor stores. I'm not from Norman nor Oklahoma City(I just moved to OKC about a week ago), so I wasn't familiar with the area, and was concerned. Once inside, I was still a little uncomfortable, but as soon as I saw the selection I was extremely pleased that I didn't just leave. The staff, I didn't really interact with them much, but it was at a busy time. I went on a Friday night and apparently all the college kids go there to get their liquor. All in all though, I feel I may have already found my regular beer store.

This is a great store! They carry every beer available in the great state of Oklahoma and they have a good selection of rare wines and liquers. They give ten percent off on cases of wine and there is a case discount for beer and liquer. Also, they are willing to order and carry requested beer, wine, or liquer. They are the second largest liquer store in Norman and the prices are cheaper than a lot of the other stores that i have been to. The staff is knowledgeable and fun! This is a good store to shop at if your in the Norman area.

Stopped in here last weekend and was greeted by friendly staff. It's a little smaller than I was expecting but they had a nice selection. All the Boulevard Smoke Stacks and regular line-up, Rochefort 6 and 8, St. Bernardus Abt 12 in 4 pack and bigger bottles(can't remember actual size in ml's), A few Oklahoma beers, Avery, Great Divide, Flying Dog, 12 or so different Rogues. Overall it was a nice selection. I haven't been to any other beer stores up in the city but if they are at least this good I will be happy.

I have been going to Joe's since I turned 21, which granted was only seven years ago. Anyway, Joe's offers a much better selection of beer than any other store I have found in Norman or Oklahoma City. I love going there, I can almost always find a new beer to try, and they are always increasing their selection.

They can be a bit pricey, but most of the time I am willing to put up with that since I can get stuff there I can't find anywhere else locally. The staff is always nice, there are one or two of the guys that really know their beer, but since Joe's in almost always busy, don't expect to always be able to get help or a suggestion right away.

Overall, I love going to Joe's to pick out a new beer, I have been doing it for a long time, and don't plan of stopping anytime soon.
