12oz into a pint glass.
Poured a bright amber, with great clarity and a few good fingers of head. Head dissipates, with a bit of film. Lacing is pleasant, showing a great retention throughout.
Hops are at the forefront, though the rye spice does come through slightly. Grapefruit and piney.
Bright hop bite, grapefruit, not a hop monster, but a pleasant bite in the beginning. The hops return in the end, giving a nice resurgence of grapefruit and spiciness. The rye does a good bit of balancing, as the rye spice bridges the hops and malt. Malts are rather sweet, caramel in nature, and are most present through the mid-swallow.
Creamy mouthfeel, almost slides down the gullet. The ABV leaves you wanting more.
