A - Dark amber our with a fingers worth of off white head. Retention its good with a sticky lace.
S - Piney and citrus in the nose, a bit of navel orange. Caramel malts and a bit of a roasted malt aroma.
T&M - Soft peppery notes and sweet malt play nicely off one another. Lightly malty with bits of caramel flavor. Lightly astringent with a bit of dryness in the finish. Light spiciness throughout...very nice. Valencia orange also provides a counter balance to the malt and rye spiciness, lending a slight sweetness to the bitter hopping.
O - Pretty much my standard for a rye beer, and I think the added hopping lends an additional element. Love the rye spiciness through out.
