I enjoyed from the bottle and loved it on tap.
A- great auburn color nice head
S- grapefruit and light spice
T - the rye give this beer a different flavor a good acidity and spice. The Amarillo hops give a citrus and pine flavor. This IPA is the beer I use to judge other IPA's. It is very hoppy and not to heavy on the malt. The beer is not a red beer it is named a guy named Red that is why it is called Red's Rye PA. I did not buy it when I first saw it because I thought it was a malty red.
M - good medium feels like beer
D - good on hot days served about 50 degrees great with BBQ. I drink some every month.

Bottled 08/13/13 at 50 degrees into regular pint glass
Aroma of pine and rye
Head average (3 cm), creamy, off white, slowly diminishing
Lacing good, multiple rings > 1 cm wide with mostly small bubbles
Body medium amber, clear
Flavor begins spicy with a hint of hop pineness, slowly fades to a slight bitterness; no alcohol, no malt, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, slightly oily, carbonation soft.
Evan though this is 8 months old, it is still flavorable, with the rye predominating. The reduced presence of hops could be because of the age of the beer.
