A Dark Caramel, head fades quickly
S Huge citrus nose, a bit of malt sweetness
T Malty sweetness with a hint of sour rye, citrus hops with a bitter finish, incredibly balanced.
M The right consistency for this style, good carbonation
O This beer is hard to beat for this style at this price point. Really great IPA with a nice twist of rye.

Pours a beautifully opaque, cloudy orangeish-brown. A medium tan head about 1/2" thick tops it off. Not much lace.
Smell is a nice mix of malty backbone with a slightly citrusy hop note. A faint fruitcake note is hiding in the back. Good balance.
Taste is well-balanced with a piney hops up front with a milder malt backing it up, followed by a wheat/rye note.
Smooth for an IPA. A tangy effervescence up front relaxes quickly. Drying finish. Rather full body. I like this, wish it was distributed here.

Enjoying with my buddy pschul4 from a mix6.

A: Pours with about 2cm of head and is a dark orange/reddish color. Exactly how I pictured it.

S: Good smell, quite hoppy. The hops make a faint, but pleasant appearance.

T: Really good hoppy and pleasantly astringent taste. Tastes like a rye beer should. Also, there seems to be a little sweetness. Very well balanced between the hops and the malts.

M: Very smooth and clean, with a little carbonation.

O: Really good hoppy and rye beer. I would definitely get a sixpack of this stuff.

As usual shared with my homeboy ariech6

A- Pours a copper hue with a finger or 2 of pale white head

S- A shit ton (2050 Lbs slightly more than a metric ton) of rye spicyness hits your nose and destroys it. Some fruit/pine from the hops in the background but the rye is the Derrick Rose of this team

T- The Derrick Rose rye tastes treat your taste buds like theyre the 2011 hawks and put them into summer break early this is a very rye flavored beer but not in a bad way. There is the background pine/fruit flavors from the hops to balance but if you want some maltiness go drink a Lebron barleywine cuz this isnt about to leave the hoppiness that depends on it

M- Smooth on the forefront with just enough carbonation to keep you coming back for more

O- I don't like rye beers but this is awesome! So glad I can get this whenever I want. All hail founders!!

A - Pours a nice copper amber with nearly a finger of offwhite head OK retention, nice lacing

S - Citrus, lemon zest, caramel malts, pine/resinous hops, nice rye spice and a bit of a bready quality as well. Very nice

T - lots of lemon zest and rye which dominates the bready quality. piney and citrusy hops are balanced. Light caramel malts as well. Bitter finish, complex

M - medium bodied or less, well carbonated. Super refreshing

O - very nicely balanced brew, serious rye spice and lots of refreshing lemon flavors. Malty sweetness is a bit lacking. Overall a good session beer on a hot day

12oz bottle. A ruby red amber with a beige medium head on the pour. Aroma of rye, some malt, yeast with some earthy floral hops. Taste is rye, earthy resiny hops, malt and yeast. A medium to full body on the palate with a crisp moth feel and lively carbonation. Finish is rye, grains, sweet maltiness, yeast with some nice lingering bitter sweet earthy floral resiny hops ending. A brew overwhelmingly dominated by rye and bitter hops but overall a good drinkable brew.
