Poured into a tulip, bottled 6/3/13
A- pours a dark amber color with a ruby red hue, small creamy off-white head that reduces to a small layer, leaving short lasting lace
S- dry floral and earthy hops, some fruity esters, a trace of garlic & onion, a bit of sweet malt to close it out. Not as pungeant as I would expect from a triple IPA.
T- what it lacked in hop aroma, it makes up for in taste. Bitter earthy and leafy hops attack the palate with some floral, pine and herbal notes. A big malty sweetness kicks in mid-palate that actually stands up to the huge hops, it follows all the way to the finish with more leafy hop notes and just a bit of vegetal flavor, long bitter linger
M- this and viscous body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel with a smooth finish. Some warming alcohol at the end, but its needed to stand up to the huge flavor.
O- this one is a slow sipper. Thick, boozy and full of hops. I didn't have high hopes after the aroma but the flavor made up for it. Definitely worth a try for hop heads.

12 oz bottle was poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to nothing quickly. It is an amber copper color with good clarity and vision of slow moving bubbles coming up through the glass.
Smell: Floral, grassy, pungent, citrus, onion, garlic, booze, and caramel.
Taste: Same as above. Burning tingly boozy sensation going down. Even after warming up, it's still the same.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, full bodied, low carbonation, tingly bitterness, and real boozy. It's definitely a sipper.
Overall: It's been a while, but still tasty. Should have held on to this one a bit longer.
