Transcribed from my notebook.
Appears slightly cloudy bronzed reddish-orange, one finger head that recedes to a slick on the surface of the brew, some mediocre lacing is left behind...
At the very moment you take your first sniff, you know that you are holding a very large hop bomb. At first I get heavy pineapple, grapefruit peel, cannabis, clove, pepper, than I get medium onion and garlic, layered on top of lighter quantities of the grassy / floral / earthy noble hop spectrums, as well as a sturdy amount of sweet malt scent. The very first part of the sip hits your tongue with citric peel / sweet malt that is actually somewhat balanced, but that brief moment of harmony rapidly gets annihilated by the beer remembering that it is a hop bomb, and hitting your tongue with tremendous amounts of onion-garlic Simcoe-styled spiciness. And the finish is positively raw with the combination of onions and pine resinous bitters with a fair amount of hot booziness leaving you somewhat dried out. The body is medium-heavy, but not syrupy at all, for which I am grateful.
There is really nothing at all subtle about this beer, and if you don't like Simcoe, you should stay away. If you do like your onions and garlic in your beer, than this hop-bomb is pretty damn fun to experience at least once, although the price is kind of absurdly high. One "hop bomb" per week of something like this is more than enough to satisfy the masochistic tastebuds in my mouth.... I personally prefer the Oracle for doing the same thing only with less onion character.

12 oz bottle was poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to nothing quickly. It is an amber copper color with good clarity and vision of slow moving bubbles coming up through the glass.
Smell: Floral, grassy, pungent, citrus, onion, garlic, booze, and caramel.
Taste: Same as above. Burning tingly boozy sensation going down. Even after warming up, it's still the same.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, full bodied, low carbonation, tingly bitterness, and real boozy. It's definitely a sipper.
Overall: It's been a while, but still tasty. Should have held on to this one a bit longer.
