A: Hazy reddish-orange amber color with a tan head and light to moderate lacing.
S: Very nice ultra-citrus & floral hop smell. Rich malty sweetness.
T&M: Similar to the smell. Starts smooth and fades to a dry rough feel. Floral hops balanced witht he malts to mask the hop bitterness. ABV is well masked. The 112 IBU definitely stands out as I had to drink a water with it. Full bodied.
Quite drinkable, but at the high price $$$$, I can think of several DIPA's and IPA's that are just as satisfying.

Bottled 5/24/13 at 45 degrees into imperial pint
Aroma – very deep pine/hemlock aroma
Head large (6.5cm), frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing to a 2 mm layer
Body clear, more amber than orange
Flavor begins with a thick sweet piney taste, very resinous, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate is medium, oily to syrupy, with a light bitter finish
I realize this beer is technically past its prime, but has aged well, becoming a very smooth flavorable ale. I’ll be buying more to cellar.
