Poured on tap into a snifer at Pizza Paradiso Dupont DC.

A creamy off white head that is super cream looking almost off nitro it seems, sits on a gorgeous brown red couldy body. There is a hint of looking at some small tiny rising carbonation froom the bottom. While drinking thick circles of foamy lace circle my glass. Very impressive.

This nose is one giant friggin grapefruit fresh bomb. However, it is fresh ripened grapefruit with sprinkled sugar on top giving just a hint of sweetness. This is just ripe and totaly bursting.

Taste brings the sense from the nose. Completely intense bitter fresh grapefruit boxed juice in the palate. Gives way on the finish to raw pine and sharp pine needle bitterness. Faint hint of sweet alcohol and malt on the finish as well, but the hops are just overpowering. There is very big borderline syrup quality to this brew but without the big boozyness and finish.

Overall, I could probably only drink a little bit of this at a time cause it's just so massive. A truly sippers IPA, but for some people this beer must be a hop heads dream brew.

A-a ruby caramel color with a thin layer of cream head that disappears quickly to leave a layer of lace

S-caramel and toffee, rum soaked raisins, the hops become more present as the beer warms. Big pine and citrus presence.

T-much more hops in the taste than the smell. Caramel malt, raisins and pine and citrus hop bitterness. I can't believe this is 12%...

M-full body, reminds me a bit of a barleywine, light to moderate carbonation, pretty smooth for such a big beer

Overall a very big beer, not too sweet, good bitterness, and no alcohol burn.
