A: Light golden blond color with a slight white head. Retention is not great.
S: Very nice hop scent. Quite floral with a little citrus. Centennial in particular is evident. There's also quite a bit of pale malt and some caramel malt.
T: Floral and grassy hops are the headliners followed by some light citrus flavors. Sharp biscuit flavors keep things balanced. Finish is long and moderately bitter with hops fading into a pretty distinctive pale malt.
M: On the lighter side for both body and carbonation. Feel is smooth, but for me, a few more bubbles might pull more from the hops.
Thought this was good, but well behind Sierra Nevada for my favorite Fresh Hop/Harvest Ale. Founders uses just a little softer, fruitier hop combination that is very nice, but loses a little steam for me towards the end of the glass.
