Wow, a really well-constructed beer from Founder's.
A: Pours the typical pale cloudy IPA orange, a little less glow and a little more straw colored. Weak head that dissipates quickly, but good lacing.
S: Wow, a huge hop nose with a strong citrus character. It's very different from a dry-hopped ale's smell.
T: Definitely a huge hop flavor with a distinct grapefruit and citrus flavor. What a huge difference between this and a dry-hopped beer. This is like the Fresca of beers... except strong and delicious and IPA-ey.
M: Too carbonated. Doesn't settle well in the mouth.
D: Relatively drinkable... kind of sessionable, I'd imagine.
This beer's definitely worth trying. The problems that it has with mouthfeel are easily compensated for by its excellent flavor and smell.
