Bottled three weeks ago.
Pours a clear medium golden color with a solid half inch whitish head that dissipates somewhat quickly, leaving light lacing.
Tropical fruit aromas of mango and pineapple underlie grassy, lightly skunky hops, with pine and grapefruit adding complexity. There's a bit of sweet bready malt in the background.
Flavor is dominated more by dank, cannabis style hops, which carry throughout, into the fairly bitter, peppery finish. Grapefruit, orange zest, and fresh cut grass surface secondarily, accompanying a bready malt backbone. Spruce and mint round out the profile. Becomes a touch perfumey as it warms.
Body is moderate, with moderate carbonation. There's slight hop astringency and alcohol warmth.
Overall, quite a variety of hop flavor and aroma. Bitterness is well represented. Very solid ipa!
