Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops and light caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with a nice burst of piney hops bitterness that is quickly followed by a strong citrus sweetness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Smooth and very crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

D: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style, this is an excellent IPA worth pounding for a whole evening.

This review taken from notes, thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this growler. Enjoyed from a willybecker.

An amber shade in the color with golden general hue with lots of fast moving bubbles inside. There is a thick creamy cap of white that retains very well. Tight bead and streamers of lace adorn this. A full on hop aroma with lots of orange and floral notes with mild pine accents the aroma has subtle hints of pineapple in the lush hop nose with clementine and hints of light pepper in the background -totally hop dominated. The feel is juicy with highly carbonated acidic quality and slightly oily body with a moderate acidity level overall. Gentle malt in the backing with a spicy dry finish and hardly any alcohol in the feel.

This harvest beer is wonderfully juicy with bitter flavor up front setting you up for a strong peppery orange rind combo and some tea-like herbal taste riding along. The flavor has a subtle tinge of mango and pine pokes through in places with a mild toastiness from the malt that only emerges momentarily til a light apricot mellow earhty flavor and fruit accent comes in. There is a slight touch of lemon oil with citrus juiciness, but the vegetal element of the hops is minor as it finishes. Overall -the best Harvest or wet hop whatever the style. the hop taste is so refreshing and only a mild amount of vegetal is introduced with very vibrant hops and enough balance to satisfy fans of the style without going toward 'hop assault'. This has that resiny hop tangy flavor after the swallow telling you it is a seriously hop forward beer.

Golden yellow body with hop haze and medium amount of carbonation bubbles floating up the glass. Thick dense white head and alcohol lacing all over the place.

Lots of citrus, pine, dank hops, and tropical fruits. Notes of grapefruit, mango, and a huge amount of pinnapple are strong fruity aromas here. Sweet maltiness and a touch of hop spice blend together nicely. Aromas are very fresh, crisp, and clean.

Tropical fruit flavors start out as a bit of pine sweeps in. The carbonation and sweet malt flavor keeps the beer from ever becoming very bitter. The mango and pinnapple are two of the strongest tropical fruit flavors and they stick on the palate. A touch of bitterness hits the tounge towards the finish and the palate is left with some spice and dryness while some tropical fruits remain.

This is one beer that is quite drinkable. You won't even realize how quick you've polished it off even when savoring each sip. A great example of a fresh wet hopped ale.

Pours a is dark golden yellow/amber with a couple inches worth of white foamy head. Quite a bit of lacing forms as I drink my glass down.

Aromas begin with fresh citrus and lots of grapefruit followed by wet floral notes. The malts fill in the back end of the nose, giving the beer a nice minimal bready sweetness.

The tastes begin with solid grapefruit flavor and is followed by more blood orange and light pineapple. The floral character is still present as well and the bready malt provides a bit of a balance against a fairly strong bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a very crisp and lively carbonation to the beer.

Overall this is a real solid Harvest ale/IPA here, and a great beer to have during the fall season. Not my favorite "fresh hop" beer but a real solid winner and worth revisiting fresh every year.
