12 oz bottle, bottled on 10/04/12, poured into a tulip glass.

A- Pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head, leaves nice lacing.

S- Lots of juicy citrus, a bit of pine and sweet caramel malt.

T- Loads of hops, some citrus and pine, malts are slightly sugary with some caramel. Moderate floral bitterness on the finish.

M- Medium-bodied, smooth feel, crisp and dry finish.

O- A very nice IPA, very drinkable and tasty.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a dfh snifer

A: pours a clean looking golden with a finger and a half of white head after an aggressive pour, leavs tons of sticky lacing, really nice looking brew.

S: very nice tropical fruity hop notes along with a light pineyness, I get notes if pineapple and mango as well as orange... Very nice aroma

T: taste is just as good, nice fresh and juicy hop flavors, primarily citrusy, with some tropical fruit notes along with a touch of bite pine, very nicley rounded.

M: light and drinkable, with a dry slightly bitter piney aftertaste, nice carbonation...

O: a very nice fresh hop ale, I don't remember liking this one so much in years past, but I am very glad I decided to revisit it.... If your a fan of wet hops, deffinatly give this one a shot if you can.

A 12 oz bottle dated 10/4/12 poured into a DFH Signature Glass.

A: Crystal clear, pale golden with a half-finger, white, sudsy head.

S: Fresh hops--notes of orangey citrus, light pine, light dank, and light bitter hop notes. Very pleasant.

T: The hops are the star of the show here--fresh and bright. Orange citrus up front, yielding to a semi-dry hoppy finish. Not super bitter, but just enough on the back of the tongue. Light pine in the picture as well. Very nice.

M: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Well done for the lighter style.

O: A great fresh hop ale, one that I quite enjoy.

A-Clear yellow-orange, not much carbonation but tries to leave behind some lacing.

S-Hops. Bouquet of citrus and floral notes. Some grass. Did I mention hops?

T-Wow. Great hop profile, earthy, citrus and floral notes all mesh together well. Ends with good bitterness and great balance.

M-Medium bodied, some carbonation, lots of hop resins.

O-A wonderful fresh hop IPA. Balance is amazing, bitterness is good. A solid brew. Now if only this could be year round...

Appearance:
Gold in color, one finger of white head

Aroma:
Terrific blend of citrus/tropical hops like melon, kiwi, touch of strawberry, grapefruit.

Taste:
Hop flavors hit up front...mainly pineapple, tangerine and mix with a sense of fresh hop oils. malt takes a back seat but provides a touch of dry spicy grain. Slight pine bitterness on the finish.

Mouthfeel:
Crisp, astringent feeling. Refreshing.

Overall:
Beautiful tropical ipa. Aroma reminds me of lagunitas sucks crossed with Double Trouble.

Enjoyed in a typical pint glass from the bottle.

A: A very clear yellow with one finger of head that stayed with the pint but this one didn't stay in the glass long.

S: Bright citrus--extremely floral. As soon as the cap came off, you knew you were in for a treat.

T: The wet hop is so fresh tasting. Having never had this one, I was really taken aback. Almost no bitterness. I don't get as much of the tropical fruit notes that some get but more of the sharper citrus and grassy notes. SPECTACULAR

M: Surprisingly light--I hate to say but almost a bit thin

O: What a treat. When everyone is cranking out pumpkin and brown ale , this knock your socks off hop treat is just what you are looking for if you are a hophead. Pricey 4 pack but worth it.
