Feeling lucky. I stumbled upon when searching out a new place. Bottled on date of 10/2.
Nice aroma. Complex and unique. Nice fruit, but also nice soft spice. A little bit of fresh cannabis and a touch of soap.
White head with good stamina and sticky lacing. Gold and mostly clear.
Nice soft feel. Lighter body, yet bigger feel with both the clean malt and shot of alcohol warmth.
Flavors are not as bold as I would have anticipated. A soft bite (more of a loving nibble) of bitterness that really hangs on for a very extended finish. Soft pale malt that is a little doughy, but also a little grainy. Hops are a little green, grassy and herbal, but really lacking and fruitiness that I would expect.
I bet this one is not considered one of the better years for this Harvest Ale. This is okay, but nothing like the exceptional beer that has been advertised in previous years.

Pours a nice straw color, pretty clear and a very modest head. The smell is classic citrus hops, not too strong, but noticeable and nice. The taste follows suit. It tastes exactly how a good, solid American IPA should taste. It won't knock any socks off, but it's very good and you'd enjoy this any time. Reminds me of Sculpin.

A- pours a clear golden color with a sudsy white head that retains nicely long after the pour, some patches of lace sticking

S- very clean hops bill, picking up some fresh mint, piney, a touch of citrus

T- lots of fruity flavors up front, some floral and leafy hops kick in mid-palate, there's just a touch of sweet bready malt underlying, the finish is dry with a blast of fresh mint that lingers long after

M- medium body and carbonation lead to a foamy mouthfeel and a slightly creamy finish

O- one of the cleanest and freshest tasting IPAs out there, loving the minty notes and so easy to drink, even at 7.6%

A: clear honey straw color with nice rocky 2.5 finger head

S: Burst of fresh hops a little mustiness

T: Getting definite sweet bready character with some nice grapefruity pith. Bitterness is not over the top. Have that funkyness come through like in the nose, not barnyard or brett but like musty armpit in a good way.

M: could use a little more carbonation IMO, slightly drying.

O: for the hype I heard about this beer i was expecting like a dry(wet) hop blast in the face but it's not. A bit underwhelming but still a nice clean refreshing brew.

Bottled 10/02/13, so about a month old. Tulip glass.

A: Pours a light straw color, decent clarity and a smattering of off-white head.

S: A light orange creamsicle aroma, pale malt, light sweetness.

T: Citrus hops (tangerine, white grape and white grapefruit), followed by moderate pale malt and just a touch of bitterness.

M: Light body and medium-ish carbonation. I guess it’s self-evident that a lighter body works well for a wet hopped IPA.

O: The low level of bitterness makes this extremely drinkable. The hops have faded a bit unfortunately, but they’re still noticeable and the malt remains in check.

Straw orange color with a one finger white head in the snifter. Some lacing throughout. Fresh hop aroma with pine, citrus and fresh cut grass. A little musty as well. The taste is similar but with a very modest, well balanced bitterness. It is tremendously smooth, sippable and leaves very little hoppy mustiness. It finishes crisp, and not overly bitter.

Poured into tulip

A Golden and transparent. Half inch or so of white foam. Lingers for a bit but not too long. A rich lacing does remain.

S Floral and fruity. Fresh like after a spring rain. Hops. Lemons. Very nice.

T Greasy hops. Pine resin. Bitter fruit peel - lemons and grapefruit. Some sweet malt. Big bitter aftertaste.

M Nice and oily and smooth. Finishes very clean and refreshing.

O One of my favorites of the style. Near perfect. It is so clean and fresh and bitter yet has some balance. Oh, so good.
