355ml Bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (£2.40):
Raspberry red with tinges of purple & topped with a pinkish-white head that is bubbly, leaveing some nice lacing on the edges.

Strong raspberry notes but not overly sweet or sugary. A malty aroma from the start that offset the sweetness. Some sourness and berries come through as well and a slight amount of tartness follows.

Sweeter than the nose but not overdone, starting with sugary sweetness, touches of bitterness & plenty of raspberries plus some tart & sourness but very little in the way of hops.

Smooth & sweet with some hints of sourness & bitterness but naturally the sweetness prevails. Carbonation seems about medium & the body the same. It was a pleasantly refreshing beer overall.

A fairly good fruit beer, certainly up there with the best that I've tried. Easy to drink & it went down well with some nice malts & bitterness helping level out the sweetness from the raspberries. An enjoyable one but you'd be hard pushed to drink more than one of them in a sitting.

Today, the #USMNT beat Ghana, the Royals smoked the Tigers and the summer sun made its debut. Time to crack one of these tasties.

Initially looks like a hearty amber, but then when the light catches it just right, you pick up unique hues of red and even pink, resulting from the infusion of raspberries. Quite a pretty beer.

Sweet smelling like you would expect from a beer with this much fruit - juicy, fleshy, somewhat acidic.

Usually too sweet, fruit beers that I actually enjoy are few and far between. This one is the exception - while the sweetness is definitely there, it's not overpowering, maintaining the freshness of raspberries without turning them into syrup. Sparkling, bright, a bit sharp on the tongue,

Somewhat slick, making an easy runway for the raspberries to make their way to the pallette. The carbonation really cracks on the tongue, exploding raspberries through the mouth.

I really enjoy this beer - not only for its uniqueness, but also because it's really good.

Pours a hazy reddish color with hints of orange and brown. Head doesn't last long. Nose has fruity sour notes, and the obvious fruits of course. Delightfully sour on the palate, sweet, fruity, refreshing. Manages to be huge on flavor without being sickly sweet, or too sour. Glad I tried this one and set aside the usual stereotypes about this sort of thing being for the girls.

Bottled on 4/5/14. Poured into a chalice.

For a fruit beer I like this one but not in multiples. A great way to break up the session. If you don’t like raspberries stay away. With the sweetness and carbonation this beer has certain soda characteristics. 4

A – Pours a cloudy pinkish red with a light pink one-finger head. 4.25

S – Raspberries! But also malty. Zero hops detectable. 4

T – Raspberries, sweet but not cloying with a raspberry tartness apparent in the middle and finish. 4

MF – Good carbonation leading to a bite on the palate. Medium-light body. Sweet finish. 4.25
