Beer is dark pink, somewhat red. Almost no head.

Nose contains raspberry and a bit of a yeasty scent.

Taste is all raspberry, which I happen to love. Tastes very real, and not artificial as fruit-flavoured beers often do. Fairly sweet, but not extremely so. A little bit of tartness. Finish is a bit fry. Simple but quite nice.

Medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Sweet, dries the mouth a bit,

Overall, simple but tasty, and very refreshing. Nice on a hot day. If you like raspberry, this is a well done raspberry focused (dominated) beer.

Pours dark ruby in body with white head that stays around. Smells of big, juicy, mouthwatering, raspberries. Tastes of smooth raspberry juice. Smoothie-like in body. Low carbonation and medium bodied. Does any other American brewery do fruit beers like Founders?

On tap poured into tulip

A: 4.0 deep red maroon color with 1 finger of head
S: 4.25 strong rasberry. Very sweet
T: 4.5 rasberry up front and lingering. Love it.
M: 4.25 carbed very well. Smooth and silky.
O: 4.25 I don't typically go for fruit beers, but this one hits the mark on so many levels. Not too sweet, not bitter at all, just an extremely enjoyable brew.

This beer poured a very nice violet color body with a small white head that didn't hang around long. The smell is like fresh raspberries. The taste is sweet very good raspberry flavor, not fake. The mouthfeel is great, not over carbonated, smooth its not like syrup. Overall a darn good beer.

Aroma is unsurprisingly of fresh raspberries. Not too strong or too sweet. Pretty pleasant. I get a whiff of wheat as well. I wonder if this is a wheat beer.

Taste follows the nose pretty well. The taste is pleasantly sweet with fresh raspberries. It doesn't cross over to cloying or syrupy in the least. Better yet, it doesn't taste like a raspberry soda would. On the closing, I get some wheat there again so perhaps the nose wasn't a fluke.

Pretty good summertime brew here although its still sweet enough to where I probably won't have more than one at a time.

Served in a Duvel tulip glass.

A: Ruby red, decent amount of bubbly carbonation. Small white head that leaves some lacing. Looks very inviting!

S: Fresh sweet raspberry's. Not getting much else...

T: Follows the nose with a large fizzy sweet raspberry flavor. I am also picking up a slight tart/sour taste on the back end.

M.F. Smooth, Chewy, Bubbly, Light feel.

O: Definitely a solid beer for the warm summer months. Fresh raspberry taste and great carbonation throughout. Perhaps a touch too sweet but it wouldn't prevent me from having more. I've heard that people mix this beer. It would be really amazing if Founders blended this with...say...Breakfast Stout. Yum!

Cheers!
