Appearance: Not much head, a nice purplely-red color, somewhat clear.

Smell: Very sweet, fruity, can pick up on the raspberries and a strawberry smell.

Taste: Sweet and raspberryish up front, then a little astringent, a little bitter on the way out. I'm also getting a little bit of caramel.

Mouthfeel: Tart/bubbly at the beginning, then smoother on the way out. Pretty nice mid-level of carbonation.

This is tasty, but it's so sweet and raspberry that it's overwhelming. It could be better balanced.

Single bottle from Consumer Beverages in Orchard Park, NY.

Poured into my Founders nonic. Deep cherry red in colour, with a half inch of light pink foam which recedes into a fine ring. No lacing to speak of. Nice colour to the brew.

Nose is tart raspberry juice, citric acid, a touch of floral hops and sugar.

Tasty raspberry ale, which has a nice tartness - almost sour - which keeps it from being cloying. Tart raspberries, lemon and a mild acidic funkiness define this brew. Thinner bodied, medium-to-high carbonation.

Good take on the raspberry ale, with enough tartness to make things interesting. Not an everyday brew by any means, but still quite enjoyable.

A- Pours an amber purple/pink with a nice finger of soft pink head - very near white. Ok retention, decent lacing.

S - Lots of sweet/slightly tart raspberries. Honestly that's about it, it does smell delectable though

T - Tons of sweet/slightly sour raspberry. Not really tart imo. If you like raspberry lambics you'll probably like this, just not nearly as sour. Tasty for what it is.

M - Light bodied, decent carbonation, very very drinkable.

O - It is what it says it's going to be. Just a burst of great (slightly sour) sweet raspberry flavor.

Very strong vibrant raspberry nose. The sweetness was very high and almost over the top. It was a good thing I had this one with my dessert. The drinkability was very high, but I have a feeling that having more than one might be too much sweetness.

Not one of the best offerings from an amazing brewery, but it was a nice change of pace from the world of IPAs, stouts, etc.

Pours red in color with a hint of tan and a pink soap foam. Lots of little carbonation bubbles. Head has good retention for a fruit beer.

Nose is dominated by a big sweet raspberry note with a subtle grainy malt backbone. Smells fairly balanced for a fruit beer.

The sweetness that was present in the nose is also present in the taste however it's balanced out nicely with tartness from the raspberries. There is also a bready malt smoothness that helps balance the sharp sweet and tart notes.

Mouthfeel is good, high carbonation, light feel and very refreshing

Overall very good for a fruit ale, one of the better ones for the style.
