look: 4 | smell: 5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tulip glass.

Pours a metallic golden copper with a half finger off-white head that recedes into a solid ring of lacing all the way around the glass. A lively amount of bubbles billow up from the bottom middle of the glass and transcend outward.

Big hops. Big citrus. Big pineapple. Slight alcohol notes. An exceptional smelling brew. Let's hope the tongue agrees with the nose.

Catch a lot of citrusy pineapple up front. Tropical hoppiness. Double Trouble gets increasingly bitter the further it rolls back on your tongue. Seems hoppier than 86 IBU's. Rather biscuity on the backend. The 9.4% ABV is hidden very well.

A decent amount of carbonation lets this beers bubbles dance around on your tongue. Leaves the mouth slightly dry post-swallow.

An extremely drinkable yet dangerous IPA given the alcohol content. This ranks in my top three brews in this category. A wonderful balance of sweetness and hops. My current session beer.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a duvel tulip

A- pours a slightly orange golden, very clean and crisp with a half a finger of white head that settles into a film, nice lacing.

S- pinneaply citrus, pine, alcohol, a hint of malt, a very nice hop aroma.

T- similar to the nose, bitter pine hops with a slight alcohol bite, pineapple , not overly sweet, and very well balanced. Resinous hop flavor. The alcohol is well hidden on the hops.

M- medium body, with a nice medium carbonation that Works beautifully here, I'd say the body is dry overall and very well rounded, for all that bitter hop flavor it doesn't heavily coat your mouth with hop resins leaving a long bitter after taste. Very very drinkable.

O- an awesome dipa, one of my top for the style, inwishbi could drink this beer all the time, a great brew .

look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: Light golden and deep yellow body with a little pure white head and good lacing.

Smell: Piney and aromatic hops and lots of it supported by good bit of citrus followed by grapes and golden raisins with a hint of malt fading into a very slight alcohol note, which is ok because it suits the hop character.

Taste: Super bitter at the front with quenching piney hops, they're not resinous though, so they don't coat the mouth in sticky gunk. These hops fade into a complex sweet taste supported by a malt finish.

Mouthfeel: Flowing on the tongue like liquid silk supported on excellent carbonation, this is surprisingly drinkable for the ABV and hops, it's session-able because the hops are resinous and the alcohol isn't really obvious.

Overall: Wish I could get this as a go to IPA, I think it's VERY similar to hop stooped without the resinous hoppy coating that the other beer has, I would buy this again for sure.
