On tap at Founders last week. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a clear light golden color with a nice white head and a good bit of lacing. The nose is pretty plain with some very faint malt character. Nothing too complex or hop-forward. Flavor has very faint hops with some light grain. Crisp carbonation and a light body. Well-made and a good introductory beer, but pretty boring.

Had a pint glass on tap at Founders Brewing.
(A)- Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Not much head to speak of except some light white bubbles and very minimal lacing.
(S)- Really fruity of lemon, orange peel, and an apricot, yet almost grapefruit aroma.
(T)- Really dry! Fruits of apricot, and lemon. Slightly tart. Reminds me strongly of DFH's Aprihop in comparison.
(M)- Smooth and dry. Really fruity. Good carbonation.
(D)- Crisp and really fruity for the style, but balanced and an all-around good beer for a summer saturday early afternoon.

Got to have this at Founders Fest 2010! Not the best beer from this brewery, but still, it's pretty sweet that I got to try something a little different from them. Review is from notes taken on 6/19/2010 and poured from the tap to a big ol' plastic cup.
Appearance: Pour is a very pale lemony yellow color and starts with an even one finger loose head that fades to a thin, but full cap; body has great clarity and shows fast and strong carbonation; only a thin ring of foam is left hanging around the top of cup.
Smell: A real grassy hoppy bite with a bit of a sweet malty graininess; nose is really weak overall though and I feel like I need to pull extra hard just to get some odors out of it.
Taste: The grassy hops are present, but there is a sweet corn-like grainy and toasty presence that adds an appropriate balance; really a simple and straightforward beer with a sweet corny syrupy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light body with carbonation that comes across softer than it looks; a moist and thin coating is left holding on to the palate and it really holds that sweet and syrupy corn-like flavor quite well.
Drinkability: Quite high with this light body and low ABV; a nice light set of flavors as well that aren't the least bit overwhelming, and actually a little refreshing after the slough of big beers that I've been drinking lately. it's good, and I actually really wouldn't mind seeing this in a bottle sometime.

Why is this a tap room exclusive? Such an ordinary beer, and not very Founders-esque. It almost tastes like there's corn in there. It was kind of hard to go from some of the more legendary beers Founders offers, and then having one of these. It tastes average. There is a slight hoppiness and bitterness in the taste, but it's rather bland and unexciting. It's definitely a sessionable sort of brew, but I'd sooner take their standard pale ale over this any day. Not much to miss here, folks.
