A- The beer pours a deep rose with a nice pale pink head that lasts well.
S- The smell is tart, fresh cherry, no artificial sweetness
T- As with the aroma, the taste is crisp, tart and fresh cherry. True and not overly sweet, just like eating the real thing.
M- Well-carbonated, not too light mouthfeel. No heavy syrup accent.
D- Easy to drink and enjoy each sip

A- Beautiful rose red color with orange undertone. Pours a nice 2 finger white frothy head that sticks around for the whole beer. Lacing in the glass throughout. A slight haze keeps it from being a five.
S- Smells like peaches just a little bit, I think that might be a slight sour smell from the cherry. There is a very small amount of barley smell. The cherry smell is like i pureed the fruit and smelled it. It is unbelievable.
T- Just a flavorful dainty beast. This beer tastes like pure cherries, with a tart sour taste that balances out that sweetness. It's outstanding. I can't believe what I am drinking
M- A little overcarbonated maybe my one true complaint. But, who cares the smell and taste more than make up for that minor detail. A lighter side of medium bodied brew.
O-This is a world class fruit beer. I have had many trying to find one that my wife will actually drink and like. There are going to be some haters on this beer, but I think that fruit beers you're either going to like or not like. This does not have a syrupy cherry flavor folks, this is real michigan cherries at their finest.

Appearance: Light red to pink in the glass. Beautiful rose color - with a bubbly appearance that made it gorgeous in a 16 oz glass
Smell: Cherry, rose petals, yeast.
Taste: The taste actually introduces itself and then opens up into a beautiful sparkling rose with hints of red fruit before opening up further to finish with the bittersweet taste of cherry from a cherry pie aspect. This beer isn't sweet, it fragrant - it's not fruity, it's complex - it has potential and opens up as you take another sip. Very enjoyable and not overly carbonated or a cheap knockoff to flavor like the other fruit/vegetable beers I've tasted.
Mouthfeel: Enlightened. This brew would be perfect with some vanilla ice cream or tart cobbler. Soft tannins. If you are a rose lover or even a sparkling wine lover - this beer will satisfy those flavor profiles while giving you the craft flavor satisfaction you're looking for.
Drinkability: I wouldn't session with this beer but instead would enjoy it on every/any occasion that doesn't necessarily call for beer. This is one over those brews you can use to convert people to the craft beer world - a brew that even the most loyal wine lovers can enjoy. Founders has hit the nail on the head with this one and I look forward to having this beer again with some great food to complement.

Big thanks to htomsirveaux for the hook-up.
A - Pours an opaque crimson-pink hue; very scant bubbles on top, more like a slightly soapy cap.
S - The cherry is huge, sweet and tart, most similar to dried cherries. All other aromas pale...
T - The taste is ridiculous. Like Belgian Red, but better. Huge cherry flavor both sweet and tart, and reminiscent of dried cherries more so than fresh, maraschino or candied. Again, everything else about this brew is dominated by the qualities of the cherry. And it is not a one-note, either, despite being all cherry; the flavor is quite dynamic and progresses from the initial consumption through the finish of the last sip.
M - Lightly carbonated and very refreshing.
D - Damn. Surprise, surprise. Another winner by Founders. This is an exceptional desert beer, a refreshing summer (or winter) brew, and it would pair nicely with a great many things, not to mention it's capacity to support an ice cream float or serve as a base for a cherry reduction. Outstanding.

The Founders Cerise from Founders Brewing Company is a great beer. The appearance is both red and murky. The aroma or flavor of the beer has strong notes of cherry which is obvious when looking at the name. The mouthfeel was very light and refreshing. The taste was light, bubbly fruity and sweet. I would strongly recommend this beer to non-beer drinkers as a great place to start.
