Reviewed from notes:

Didn't get a good look out of it drank it from the bottle. No glasses to be found: man, the college beer-drinking atmosphere is killing me.

The hops are very apparent right off the bat, as it should be with an ipa. I detected some very citrusy yet earthy aromas. This needs stressing: one of if not the most aromatic hop bombs i've experienced. Not subtle, but thats not a bad thing.

Has an orange flavor to it, probably originating from the citrus hops. If nothing else this beer has reawakened a love for citrus and the ipa genre. Bitter, of course, not anything too crazy, i would describe as middle of the road in intensity, but it gave many tasters the bitter beer face.

Smooth and with the right level of carbonation.

The bottle describes this beer as a milestone and a standard for ipa. Usually i wouldn't agree with propoganda so wantonly, but this time i am inclined to agree

Weird side note: i literally had dreams about chugging a six pack of this beer. I would always have one beer left and would want to save it for later, but would decide it would taste so much better to drain it in one draught.

isn't it eery how dreams mirror reality?

In a can-shaped glass.

A- Amber body, some cloudiness and no carbonation visible. Foamy light head that plateaus and leaves lots of lace.

S- Orange citrus and sweet caramel plus subtle pineyness.

T- Mellow citrus and a good dose of caramel. Pineyness is there too. The nose and tongue are very consistent. But good.

M- This beer is bitter, but not overwhelming. Average carbonation. Medium-bodied and with a hint of booziness.

Overall, a top-notch IPA and one that can stand above the rest of the crowd.
