Fresh bottle from the brewery store.
Pours a slight russety amber topped by a decent head. Lays down tight sheets of lacing.
Aroma of citrus peels and caramel with pine and toasty notes.
Tastes the same, like navel oranges and caramel. Bright and fresh tasting with a clean bitterness in the finish that's no where near harsh, only slightly spicy. Malt builds some breadiness with light touches of dark chocolate. Bitterness slowly builds with each sip giving a nice piney bitterness to balance it out.
Mouthfeel is medium, with a slight oiliness about it. Slightly dry in the finish.
Overall a very good and easy drinking IPA.
