12 oz bottle with twist-off cap poured into pint glass.
A: Pours light brown/golden color. Leaves a thin white head and some nice light and thin lacing.
S: Surprisingly, there is a huge malt aroma. The citrusy and piney hops almost take a back seat the malt.
T: Centennial hops! Big pine flavor, with piney aftertaste as well as a definite malt sweetness. The malts are caramelly and earthy, and the hops are mostly pine with a bit of lemon zest. There is an alcohol burn as it goes down. Very well balanced.
M/D: The alcohol could be more well hidden, but the body of this one is very well done.
I think I have a grasp on centennial hops now! Overall, not an IPA for the folks that like Hop bombs, definitely a well balanced beer.
