I'm on the East Coast for recruiting and thought I'd find some new beers in the meantime. It's not quite the Hopslam I hear the Sr. VP in charge of the training got today... but it'll do. Poured into a wine glass.
It looks awesome. Nice steady head. Bone white. Great lacing. Beautiful clear light orange body. Not sure what more I could ask for... so it gets a 5.
The nose is sticky. Hops sticky. Thophat's the main note that I get. Not hop citrus. Not hop pine. Hop sticky. Maybe some honey, too.
The flavor is more of the same. Good light body with a nice sweetness, but the hops are one dimensional... and not on my favorite hop flavor, either.
This is decent... but where is my Hopslam?
