Acquired in a trade with rhodesrage. Thanks!
A: Pours an orange color with no head or no lacing. Is this thing carbonated??
S: First smell is bread and dough. There is lack of any smell of hops.
T: Hmmm... I taste caramel and malt. More than I expected with this beer. It's OK...not great. The bitterness sticks with me a bit after each sip...but it's not memorable.
M: Light carbonation, too light. Almost syrupy as I think, as at least this bottle, seems to lack sufficient carbonation.
D: This beer is drinkable. At 7.2%, the alcohol is well hidden. Being from Founders, I was expecting a little more from their IPA. It was a treat, but I don't know how often I would purchase this beer if it were available to me regularly.

In a can-shaped glass.
A- Amber body, some cloudiness and no carbonation visible. Foamy light head that plateaus and leaves lots of lace.
S- Orange citrus and sweet caramel plus subtle pineyness.
T- Mellow citrus and a good dose of caramel. Pineyness is there too. The nose and tongue are very consistent. But good.
M- This beer is bitter, but not overwhelming. Average carbonation. Medium-bodied and with a hint of booziness.
Overall, a top-notch IPA and one that can stand above the rest of the crowd.

A very nice IPA. The appearance was light orange with a head that lasted a while then left trails down the glass. The smell was really nice with a lot of floral and herb components. The taste was full of hops that left a very nice even taste that ended in an enjoyable crisp finish. The mouthfeel was also nice. For an IPA at seven percent, it was delightfully medium bodied with a refreshing amount of fizz. Would definitely recommend.
