Appearance: Slightly hazy, copper color with one finger of head that fades to a cap with a thick curtain of lace.
Aroma: A nice mix of citrus and pine hop notes, mildly toasted malt and just a hint of grassyness.
Taste: A little sweet and medium bodied up front, then becoming a little nutty, almost brown-butter-ish. A big rush of bitterness on the finish that is very raw and crisp, no doubt due to the dry hopping that is slightly lingering.
The Rest: A nice IPA that keeps things interesting. A more complex malt profile than the standard IPA, but the hop bitterness comes on so fast and strong that some of its subtleties get lost in the IBUs. Overall pretty tasty, though.
