Pours a hazy honey-amber with a thick, pillowy off-white head that takes a long time to go away.
Very hoppy aroma. You can smell the grapefruit 6 inches away from your face. Just hints of sweetness in the aroma.
Flavors are pretty similar. Grapefruit hops hit first with some grassy/piney bits in there too. The malty sweetness is more apparent, but is still a bit player. Lightly toasted biscuit with honey.
Medium-light bodied. Resiny from the hops. Good carbonation.
Drinkable. Good flavors, but maybe a little hot for drinking more than a couple in a night.
I like this beer. Probably one of the better IPA's I've had in a while.
