On cask @ Fat Head's Brewer's Brawl. Served as "Double Dry Hopped Centennial IPA".
Holy Moly. This beer is a whole new creature entirely when dry hopped and served at cask temperature.
Poured a cloudy golden orange. Nice white head.
Smell is out of this world. Peaches like nobody's business. Orange, pineapple, mango, and a touch of grapefruit. Such a kick-ass nose.
After a few other hoppy beers, I had this after eating some chips and a brat, and my palate was wrecked again. Just one of the most intense centennial beers I've had. Soundly sits 2 hearted on it's ass. The cask made the bitterness more pronounced but also seemed more flavorful and balanced. Loved this, miles above the bottled version.
Mouthfeel was great. Actually probably a touch too carbed off the cask, but brilliant.
Drinkability was also wonderful. I went back for a second and enjoyed that just as much. Founders coming through with a HUGE variant here!

A: burnt orange with a light tan head. Can't wait!
S: toffee and malt. Also piney hops!
T: toffee and burnt malt. Also some floral notes, dank hops, pine, and caramel.
M: a nice sudsy feel. Medium and buttery.
O: not what I was expecting in a good way. It drinks like an English pale which is awesome. I like the malty touch.
