Founders centennial IPA
Tasted July 25th 2011 (from notes)
A - copper, two finger head white head and some nice lacing
S - Very sweet yeast, nice malt backbone, tons of flowers, pineapple, citrus and tropical fruits. Sugar, a bit of salt and velvety
T - tons of grapefruit, pineapple, nice sweet malt, sweet yeast, floral hops, slightly earthy, wood and some pungency
M - some what chewy, medium acidity, well balanced, nice bitterness, tons of flavor and nice complexity
D - one of the best ipas I have ever had. Tons of flavor, easy to drink and just enough alcohol. Perfect for any everyday IPA
Fin thought - at 7.2% and an awesome flavor and very refreshing. This beer rules! Thank God for trading!
