Poured from 12oz bottle with brew date of early January into a pint glass because thats what I had handy

Nice pour with a great full slightly off white head that clings to the sides of the glass

The smell is really kind of a mixture of floral , citrus and earthy to me ,very well blended with not one of the smells over powering the others

Nice medium bodied beer that drinks pretty smooth

The taste is really hop forward to me with the malt sneaking in at the back end with a slight bite of alcohol at the end

Overall a really wonderful IPA , this is my third beer from Founders and they are becoming my favorite brewery by a large margin

This brew pours a cloudy orange brown color with a small head and mild lacing. The carbonation is just right.

The smell is hop forward, with orange/citrus, grapefruit dominating. Maybe some carmel in there as well.

The taste is hop forward; orange, grapefruit, pineapple a little mint and a chalky taste on the backend with anti-stringet qualities and a citrus hop oil lingering on the tongue.

The mouthfeel is thick and bready, a little cracker taste. Chewing and oily.

This is a well balanced brew. In spite of it being hop forward it does not burn off the tongue with bitterness. All of the tastes are well balanced and blend well together, one right after the other. A very solid IPA.

Poured into a glass mug.

A: Slightly hazy orange-brown with one-finger, white, frothy head that lasted a couple minutes and left a nice film. Great lacing.

S: Citrus and pine. Pineapple. A bit mild though.

T: Light to moderate sweetness and moderate hop bitterness. Pine then citrus then a touch of malt.

M: Medium bodied with soft to fizzy carbonation. Smooth and refreshing. Slightly sticky.

O: Great IPA. A stronger aroma and taste would have made it even better, but not bad at all.
