Amber orange color. Poured a decent and thick head with medium retention.
Superb fruity aroma, passion fruit and mango, hints of flowers. Hard to beat.
Mild carbonation with tiny bubbles
Bitter resiny taste. Hints of orange peel and grapefruit on a malty base. Mildly sweet and long lasting bitterness. It gets better with time and warmth, gets more fruity and revealing more flavors. Alcohol (7.2% ABV) is absolutely out of the picture. Good single hop IPA.

Bottled 11/20/12, good fresh sample. Poured this into a Founders Snifter Glass.

A: Pours a relatively clear, dark amber orange color. Bout a finger of off white head that recedes at a skim, good lace.

S: Big, bright floral tones, sweet citrus and grapefruit, nice floral quality on this one, decent amount of caramel malt sweetness, light earthy notes.

T: Grapefruit peel, tangerines, and citrus hop bitterness upfront, milder piney notes, pretty florally too, actually pretty balanced between the hops and caramel/toffee malt sweetness. Really dry finish, slight hop oil coating on mouth.

M: Medium bodied, smooth feel, carbonation is a bit lower end on this one.

O: Very nice offering here from Founders. As my palate adjusted, I enjoyed the beer more and more. My first hoppy brew from these guys. Good stuff and glad I bought a six pack.
