12oz into a pint

A - Pours a brown to copper color. Light white head formation, breaks down to a film...only a bit of lacing. Appears to be hazy - matching the unfiltered nature.

S - A combination of a strong malt profile, caramel and a little bit of nuttiness, and citrus hops. Also a nice resinous bitter backdrop - strong but not really all that potent for an IPA.

T - Starts off lightly malty with caramel malts, but is immediately turned bitter by a citrus american hops note. Some resin, lots of bitterness. Finishes with a bitter oily texture on the tongue.

M - Balanced mouthfeel, both full bodied and corresponding carbonation. A sticky mouthfeel, so I get alot of sugary leftover flavors.

O/D - A very respectable IPA. Full bodied, full of ABV, but all of those seem to integrate very well. Could be more of a cold weather IPA vs. some of the lighter versions of the style.

Pours a deep amber or medium copper color with a huge off white head that persists for a while. Smells of floral, resinous and citrusy hops with a solid bready and caramel malt backbone. The flavor is crisp bitter and caramel. There's a solid hit of hops in the form of resin and citrus up front followed by lots of bready malt and a hint of caramel. The finish is a long lingering resiny bite. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Nice IPA, maybe a hint on the sweet side but great nonetheless. Thanks for coming to NH!

Appearance: It has a nice semi-cloudy deep orange/copper color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitly give out hints of citrus and pine along with some sweet caramelly malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some nice citrusy and piney notes from the hops with some sweet caramelly malts balancing it out. Not overly complex but a solid IPA nevertheless.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel. Nice lingering bitterness.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.

A bit dark for an IPA, think amber-brown. Above an initially thick bed of offwhite bubbles play before quickly leaving the scene, leaving a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a hint of lacing.

Somewhat confusing (ie, complex) smell. Malty backbone mixed with a 'sweet' scent mixed with faint citrus notes. Fruit cake scent.

It really is as good as advertised. More complexity in the taste as it mixes caramel malt, a yeasty cracker/breadlike taste, and some citric hops. Nothing overpowers something else.

About as drinkable an IPA as you'll find. It's certainly got the hoppy bitter pedigree, but it never goes overboard. Bordering on light bodied, very easy to drink as the hops are kept at bay, as it the 7.2% ABV.

It's world-class for the style. It's damned good for any style, but for an American IPA, this is about as good as it gets, particularly for a year-round beer.

12oz bottle into a mason jar. Don't judge.

A: Hazy Amber with two fingers of fluffy white head. Good retention.

S: Tons of citrus, grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Great hop aroma. A bit of breast malts in the background.

T: Much more dank than the aroma, very dank hops start off with a bit of pineapple and fruity sweetness in the background. Very balanced.

M: Medium thickness with good carbonation.

O: A bit dank in the hops for me, but this is a well balanced IPA. I enjoyed it.
