Poured into a nonic.

Pours a hazy, dirty deep dark orange. Nice fizz layer head settles to the top. Some patchy lace. Good looks.

Brew smells of big juicy hops, citrus and floral. Good malts as well. Nice nose.

Brew is full bodied and flavorful. Complex and tasty from start to finish. Sweet crisp hops up front, mellow creamy malts in the middle. Slick oily floral and citrus hops round out a bittering finish. Great tasting session brew here.

I love this IPA, a true standout and one that is perfect for hop heads. Not a brew to offer a non hop lover or hop novice. Excellent.

A: Burn orange

S: A little weird on this one. Not bad, just...weird. The pine and sweet don't really balance out- the sweet just seems to overpower it. I'm having a tough time figuring out what's going on.

T: The sweet is nice- now it doesn't seem to drown other flavours out. The Centennial Hops are things I don't encounter too much, so I think I'm going to have to get used to.

M: Nicely done on the balance here.

O: It's good... but just good. I prefer their Dirty Bastard series a lot more.

Poured this one into a snifter so I can get all that glorious aroma shooting up my nose and into my temporal lobes where it basks gently.
Appearance:The body has a deep dark orange to it like a cross between an old-school basketball and a lit up jack-o-lantern. The head is small but hangs on tight.
Smell: This has to be the sweetest smelling brew I've ever encountered. With most IPA's the citrus and pine notes crowd out the sweet malt, but that's not the case here. Pure caramel, burnt sugar, with a wee bit of grape fruit.
Taste: All sugary sweet caramel malt with an intense hop explosion at the end makes the amplitude factor in this shoot into the sky.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.
Overall: Fantastic beer by any measure. Few could come close to this level of perfection.
