12 oz. bottle purchased locally, ($9.99/6). Bottle dated 11/15/11, 52 days ago. Poured into tulip glass.
A: Clear gold/copper, with glass-cresting 1-1/2"+ billowy, off-white head that settles very slowly and leaves scattered, thin lacing; steady effervescence.
S: A whiff of pine; malty, then tangerine and lemon citrus; slight floral.
T: Sweet caramel malt; sharp citrus, esp. grapefruit; pine resin brings growing, emphatic bitterness that lingers; alcohol presence.
M: Medium body, rich & resinous; low/medium carbonation; slightly prickly feel; dry finish; warming.
O: Straight ahead IPA with distinct sweet and bitter phases; quite delicious; a solid offering.

A: This is a very nice looking beer. its not a very clear beer that is a dark copper in color. The head is white and not very thick. It leaves a lot of lace on the glass.
S: I am getting a little bit of malt and strong amount of hops. A very nice smell.
T: Such a delicious controlled hoppy flavor.. The hops linger for a while and turn to a nice malty sweetness.
M: This is one of the best mouthfeel of any beer I have ever had. It is very smooth and has just a tiny bit of crispness. I love how this feels.
O: This is a very nice beer. One of the best IPAs on the market IMO.

A - Pours a hazy orange, can hardly see through it, white, .5 finger head that dissipates quickly but leaves a decent amount of lacing.
S - Mostly citrusy, but has some notes that reminds me of a cologne. Some flowery hops, apple, and grapefruit.
T - Taste is a tad subdued, but pleasant. Starts a bit sweet before fading into a mixture of grassy and citrus hops. Finishes with a kick of sweetness.
M - Clean and smooth, a bit thick in the throat.
Overall - A solid IPA here. I'm not sure if freshness might be an issue because it was all a little subdued for my tastes. Was expecting a little bit more of a hop kick than what I was getting.

Enjoyed in a pint glass.
A: pours a very dark golden, almost opaque color. Pours with about a 2 finger head that leaves nice lacing.
S: semi hoppy scent but not extremely like many iPas. Citrusy fruit scent grapefruit like.
T: stronger hoppy taste than the scent. Can taste the grapefruit more in the taste.
M: great consistency, great carbonation. Leaves mouth a tad bitter combined from both hops and grapefruit citrus.
Overall, great brew!

This is from a bottle that’s less than a month old. Beer poured a golden straw with a generous layer of foam. There’s a light hop aroma of straw/hay—not barnyard funk, mind you—but nothing overpowering. Taste bitter but easy going, with a spicy undertone to a solid hop flavor profile. I’m struggling to find the right descriptor as it’s not dominated by pine, nor citrus. But it is enjoyable!

Poured from a 12oz. bottle, bottled 11/28/11.
Appearance: A fairly clear orange-gold body, mild haze, with about 3 fingers worth of head.
Smell: Sticky, resin, grapefruit & mango, pungent and fresh.
Taste: Starts with fruit, lots of mango with some orange, then goes to a nice sweetness and ends with a spicy note. Biscuity a bit. Quite nice.
Mouthfeel: Nice long bitterness yet conserves a certain smoothness. As it warms, loses a bit so drink it chilled.
Overall: A nice flavorful IPA. Glad to have tried it.
