Had this on tap a few weeks ago at Fiddler's Hearth
Heard all of Indiana only got two full kegs of this..very stoked

A:Poured Dark as night with a solid finger and half head that slowly resided and left beautiful lacing down the glass

S:Strong hint of molases, maple, vanilla and a hint of chocolate

T:Complete awesomeness, just as the nose detects with a little taste of biscuit and bourbon on the end

M:Solid full feel that coats your mouth like syrup

D:A very drinkable, delicious, and intresting beer. I ended drinking a few of these because they were so damn good and I don't know if I ever will have the chance again.

Cheers again Founders

2010 vintage on tap at Barcade Brooklyn.

Dark brown body, nearly opaque. Some tan head and silky brown lace up top. Too bad it smells like nail polish. Acetone++

Old ale malt base joins the dry yeast and maple barrels to create a unique profile. Boozy, roasty, spikes of sweetness, finishes dry. Not much biscuit left. Did I mention boozy?

Glad I got to try this, but I wouldn't seek it out again.

Had what might be the last hand bottle from a quarter barrel and this beer did not disappoint the crowd. It held up was the general thought. The carbonation was nearly perfect for an ale. The flavors were great, sweet syrup, chocolate and strong boozy feel. Good stuff.
