12oz bottle into a tulip glass. Clear copper with a rich bright-white head. Robust sticky lace drenches the sides of the glass. Smells grassy and bitter with herbal notes and touch of pine and sweet tropical fruit that stick to the breadiness of the malt. The taste is grassy herbal character with a rind-like bitterness and some light resins. Herbal character gets more tea-like as this warms. A well balancing sweetness on the edges comes courtesy of the malt and the additional fruit notes of the hops. The mouthfeel has a medium bodied firm creaminess to it that flows rather easily across the palate. This was nice, with an easy drinking nature yet still packed in some full hoppy flavors. Quite quenching and sessionable overall.

On tap at The Chimes, Covington, LA
A: Clear, golden, with a half finger off-white head that dissipates quickly. Some lacing.
S: Piney hops, resin, grapefruit. Citrus-y.
T: Light hops blend well with bready malts. A good balance. Nice citrus presence. Very smooth and drinkable. Light bitterness on the finish. Definitely an all day drinker. But kinda boring.
M: Light to medium with medium carbonation.
O: Hopheads would think this one is a wussy. But maltfreaks wouldn't be offended. A decent "mow the lawn" beer. Not one of Founders' standouts, but not bad, either.
