A - Partly hazy, with nice carbonation. Very small, 1/2 finger head that quickly dissipated (may have been an older bottle).
S - Very nice note of grapefruit. Very even smell.
T - Lovely even flavor: grapefruit peel, lovely bitterness mid-tongue.
M - Easy to drink, with the sweetness and the bitterness well-balanced and hitting the right spots.
O - This isn't the most full-flavored IPA, but it isn't supposed to be. In fact, it comes across as good, if not better, than much higher ABV IPAs. My first sip, I was disappointed, until I remembered it's 4.7%; every sip thereafter just got better and better. A very solid beer, all the way to the bottom of the glass.

On tap at The Chimes, Covington, LA
A: Clear, golden, with a half finger off-white head that dissipates quickly. Some lacing.
S: Piney hops, resin, grapefruit. Citrus-y.
T: Light hops blend well with bready malts. A good balance. Nice citrus presence. Very smooth and drinkable. Light bitterness on the finish. Definitely an all day drinker. But kinda boring.
M: Light to medium with medium carbonation.
O: Hopheads would think this one is a wussy. But maltfreaks wouldn't be offended. A decent "mow the lawn" beer. Not one of Founders' standouts, but not bad, either.
