As its called this is a great IPA to enjoy all day. It has the hops to keep an IPA lover satisfied, but is easy on the palate and easy for any beer lover to drink.

A- Light, clear amber in color with nice white head

S-Mild but notable hop aroma with sweet citrus overtones and hint of toffee makes for an enjoyable aroma

T-Mild compared to most IPA's but the hops are present yet sweet and leaves a sweet hop aroma in the mouth

M-Nothing overpowering, goes down easily with a sweet flowery taste

O-Great IPA if you're looking for an easy to handle IPA or just getting use to the power of hops. I'm lucky to have Founders in my backyard and recommend this to any visitor.

A - golden yellow pale in color. About an inch of foamy suds after an aggressive pour. Zero lacing and head retention to speak of.

S - Piney, earthy, grassy, weed, bong water, faint citrus notes.

T - Big flavor for the low alcohol content. Tastes more like a standard IPA than this session ale. Nice hoppy profile to start, some sweetness, followed by an overly dry finish. Crisp mouth feel.

O - This has turned into my go to session ale and I actually like to drink it more out of the can that from the bottle. Huge flavor and juicy drinkability in this brew.

Wow. A nice resiny, hoppy, piney drink.15 cans for under $20?!? How can that be beat?
This will be a staple of my summer BBQ parties. A great tasting, low abv beer at a nice price? Who needs corona?

Well done, Founders! You've produced just about the perfect summer beer for people who like good beer. Taste, drinkability and price! Bravo!

12 oz. Bottle poured into a pint glass.

Light amber color. Pours out with a rich thick head that that lasts several minutes, but interestly leaves little lacing. Relatively low in alcohol. Nothing remarkable other than its lightness, making it enjoyably refreshing.

12oz. bottle poured into a glass.

Appearance: Pours a rusty, clear orange. Head and lacing both minimal. Carbonation moderate.

Aroma: Smells of citrus, pine, lemon, hops and grass. All typical IPA smells. Smells hoppier than 42 IBUs. Alcohol is faint.

Taste: The taste follows the nose, but it's kind of underwhelming. The lemon note is a little too dominant. It's very average.

Mouthfeel: It's thinner than I'd prefer. Somewhat watery for an IPA.

Overall: This is a very mediocre beer in my opinion. It does what they want it to do - it's an IPA you can plow through all day because of low ABV - but it's really boring. It seems like a stab at a pale ale / IPA hybrid and I think it would be better if they'd committed to one or another. It could serve as a good "bridge" beer to help folks move from pales to IPAs, so it's not without value.

DRINKABLE. A great summer beer. Lower alcohol and a crisp refreshing feel make for an IPA that can be grabbed one after another from a cooler. Pine, fruit hops, and just a touch of a bitter aftertaste remind you that you are drinking an IPA. Get this for your summer BBQ. Everyone should be happy.

Poured out of a can. Color is a nice see through copper/orange. Pretty decent head on this pour not too foamy.

Smell is good, fruity with some hop aroma. Taste is also good, not outstanding but a nice balance with some definite citrus flavors. Overall, this beer is pretty good and I'll give it a try again.

A: It pours a clear orange-brown, with a tan one finger head that fades quickly with no lacing.
S: A lot of grapefruit
T: A little tartness up front fades to a lingering hoppy bitterness and some biscuity malt
M: medium bodied with slight crispness. It' a little less refreshing than I would like.
I: Tasty and drinkable mild
