A - Golden with lots of clarity, no head or sticky lace
S - A huge bitter and citrusy hop kick into the nose. Impressive! Lots of hops of course
T - A huge hoppy kick up front. Bitter aftertaste. Not malt backbone, which is to be expected with a Session IPA. Very tasty for what it is...
M - Lightly carbonated, mild and slick mouthfeel
O - I prefer a more well rounded "normal", or higher gravity IPA. But Founders provides a great session IPA, for the hop head at the lake in the summer time.

12 oz bottle at fridge temp poured into a snifter. Bottled on 2/11/2013 (just over 1 month old)
Pours out a clear golden color with maybe a bit of orange coming through. About one fingers worth of white head that was short lived. Spotty lacing.
A nice fresh hop aroma. Somewhat pungent. Ripe tropical fruits, fresh pine, and fresh citrus peel.
Some nice hop flavors, citrus and pine with some ripe tropical fruits, but it falls on its face on the back end with a thin almost watery feel. No real malt flavors noticeable. Finishes clean with a good hop bitterness. A bit of breadiness noticeable as it warms, perhaps more of a yeasty breadiness?
Light bodied, but quite refreshing and drinkable.
I enjoyed this beer, mostly due to its light drinkable ABV, but still some nice hop flavors. I could see myself buying this again.

First, thats an awsome label and kind of says what this beer is all about.
Bought this at the Wegmens and looks to be very fresh even though the date escapes me.
Aroma was fantastic. Its fresh and aromatic with citrus and pine hops. plenty of sweet malts for balance.
Taste was a little thin and washed out but still plenty of taste to go around.
Hops where bold with a citrus bitterness. Like grapefruits. Very pleasent tasting.
Oh, the appearance was a clear amber with a thin white head that was somewhere between soapy and dense. Some lacing.
Drink quite bitter and had a clean aftertaste.
A very good sessionable brew with lots of flavor.

12oz bottle, thanks to dbol, into a Fantome tulip.
True golden colour with a nice white head of foam. Spots of lacing a good head retention, slowly receding.
Really strong grapefruit smell, enduring and clean and defined. Faint touch of pineapple there as well.
Tastes of grapefruit and citrus. Hard to believe it is just 4.7% ABV. Plenty packed into this.
Strong bitterness, particularly early on that backs off a bit towards the end of the bottle. Certainly would grab for another. Very drinkable, yet pretty damn hoppy and bitter. Medium carbonation.
Really nice package. Super sessionable, really difficult to comprehend the relatively low ABV at times, easy to think this was 6% just with how much is in this. Very enjoyable.

I really wanted to like this beer. When I first tried it, I thought "Oh, a nice clone of New Glarus Moon Man." But that's where the similarities stopped. It's like a beer spritzer. Weak, yet hoppy, and I felt myself not really wanting to drink it. It quickly went flat, and I'm only drinking more to try and catch a buzz. I wouldn't buy it again, and I'm wondering now if Founders has gotten too big for their britches. I think their quality is slipping, and a brewery I once thought could do no wrong, is proving me wrong. Don't bother.
