Session and IPA are two words that don't go together in my book. And frankly this beer is not both of these things. It is a good pale ale (to me in an English direction) but not an IPA. But it is very sessionable.
Pours a clear honey-colored liquid. The aroma is excellent with lots of aromatic hoppy notes.
Flavor is a well balanced pale ale. Plenty of hops but not too much (or to say it another way, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is far hoppier than this one). Some maltyness but still pretty crisp. Definitely some aromatic hops.
Medium mouth feel. About right for a session beer but not oily enough to be an IPA.
Overall, I like this beer a lot. I only wish it were named better. "All day IPA" is catchy but it just isn't accurate.

12 oz. can poured into Spiegelau.
A- Golden honey in color. Active carbonation. Off-white head retains at 1/4". Great lacing.
S- Aromatice citrus, pine, hint of toasted malt. Sweet aroma.
T- Citrus peel, a little sweet citrus. Less malt, but it's in the flavor profile.
M- Light, crisp. Simple
O- Light, and crushable. Session IPAs are growing on me. Dry hopping, and leaving less for the bittering is a great idea. We get the hop flavor and aroma, but minimal bitterness.
