LOOK: Deep golden bordering on copper color, fine clarity, head dies down quickly but that may be the humid and hot weather.

SMELL: Herbal, citrus, pine, cat pee, hops.

TASTE: More herbal citrus, with a decent hop bite and medium to intense bitterness. Pine. Leafy, earthy, hoppy. Malt body does just enough to balance, pale malts and possibly caramunich or caramel.

FEEL: Lighter bodied for a ipa, small bite, good carbonation.

OVERALL: All day baby. All day. Solid IPA, always welcome ontap or the fridge. Would pair nicely with a spicy curry or some Mexican food.

Pours a clear deep golden color with a smallish off white head that quickly dissipates to a small ring on the top. Smells of citrus pine and earth with a hint of bready malt that barely shows itself. The flavor is fruity, juicy, citrus and pine with a hint of bready malt to make you believe there is actually some malt in there. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Great light easy drinking ipa, If I thought my wife would let me get away with it I could drink these all day.

Nice to see lower alcohol IPAs making more of a showing in the market. Sometimes I just want something a little lighter, but with flavor. This is one of the better ones- particularly when very fresh. when you a lovely floral hop aroma and flavor- delicate, but definitely flavorful. It does fade fairly quickly on the shelf, so freshness is key. A nice option.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, slightly hazed copper coloring with a thin, low profile white head that quickly disappears. The nose is very fresh hop forward, with a steady dose of bitterness and resin, with an underlying sweetness of citrus fruit and caramel to balance. Flavors are much lighter than the nose would hint at. Rich caramel and tart grapefruit on the forward tongue, with a peppery dry hops characteristic immediately following. Peppery and bitter aftertaste, with some resiny properties. Mid-bodied, with a slightly dry, slightly effervescent finish. Very easy to drink, which from the title was what they were going for.

Bottle from Siciliano's, 330ml into a tulip. Bottled May 5, 2012.

Clear golden orange with a finger of white head. Moderate retention and good lacing. Nose of bright citrus fruits, a bit of sugary malt and slight grassy/herbal/dank hoppiness in there too. Taste has only a glimpse of the citrus before opening up into some toasty grains and more prominent herbal and grassy notes. Light sweetness but bitterness prevails. Light body and genuinely 'poundable' (hence the "All Day" title?). Medium light carbonation. A solid IPA, wish there weren't so many other things I wanted to buy when I was in Michigan, more of this would have been acquired.

Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden orange color with a half finger white foam head that immediately fades into a very thin ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind.

Dank, floral hop aroma with lots of resinous pine and earthy grass character countered by subtle citrus fruit and a pale malt backbone. Slightly spicy with grass, pine needle and über-fresh sticky buds followed by some grapefruit, pineapple, biscuit and graham cracker. Kind of reminds me of fresh cut grass. Very nice!

Medium bodied with a crisp and spicy earthy hop bite that lingers over the sweeter fruit notes and pale malt backbone into a dry finish. Fresh juicy hops with some dry, earthy bitterness and resinous pine flavor countered by hints of grapefruit, mango and pineapple. Could use a bit more citrus/tropical fruit flavor but there is enough there to add complexity and balance out the bitterness. Underneath, there is a pale malt backbone that really helps balance things out without taking away from the hop flavors. Some bread, biscuit, graham cracker and a touch of sweetness rounding things out in the finish. Really tasty and excellently balanced with a low ABV making this beer extremely drinkable. Not the most flavorful or aggressively hopped IPA but it's really nice and I could see myself drinking this "all day".

5/18/2012 and 5/20/2012

On tap at URGE.

A: Dark yellow with a white frothy head. Poured nearly to the top of the glass so not much head action.

S: Floral with mild orange and grapefruit aromatics. Restrained hop profile. Some biscuity malt. Light but bright.

T: Grassy and clean with light orange and grapefruit rind notes. Bread is faint and biscuity with cracker notes. Smooth lower moderate bitterness and dry.

M: Upper light body with upper medium carbonation.

Overall: Very light and pretty simple, but very drinkable and quite enjoyable on this warm day. I'm glad I came back to try this again as I could hardly taste it after drinking a couple Double IPAs on Friday night. Though, All Day Pale Ale would be a more fitting name for this beer.

Poured a light brassy hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a resinous piney hop.

The taste offered waves of pine, orange and apricot atop a light grainy pale malt.

The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style as expected.

Overall a very tasty, hop forward session ale.

Bottle to Founders tulip.

A - Straw yellow with a slight orange tinge and a half a finger of bubbly white head.

S - Beautiful grapefruit and pine aromas up front with a big bitterness evident. A touch of malt sweetness is present in the background. Great nose for a sessionable ale.

T - Sharp bitterness up front with some grapefruit, orange zest and pine flavours. The faintest touch of malt sweetness is present in the background. The finish is dry with lingering bitterness.

M - Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.

(Served in a tulip glass)
Bottled 12/20/11
A- This beer pours a slightly hazy orange body with a gentle carbonation pushing up a creamy beige head with big bubbles.

S- The green slightly pungent fruity hops have a full juicy character with some green grapefruit aroma in the finish. There is a cat pee and spicy quality that grows as the beer opens.

T- The green slightly pungent pineapple weed hops have a slight fruity green hop finish which takes on some herbal pungency as it lingers a bit.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle fizz but no alcohol heat noticed.

O- This is a smooth beer with lots of full hops that are slightly juicy and slightly pungent adding nice complexity and very drinkable.

The founders All Day IPA is awesome....its Zombie Dust Light...coming in at 4.7% vs the 6.2% for ZDust and 8% for Holiday Sucks Ale. This beer is for anyone who enjoys the citra hop....the most amazing hop. The taste and smell of this beer is a perfectly blended pine and bitter citrus. The malt is just enought to give me a woody. Mouthfeel is lighter in body good carbonation... an absolute winner!

A - Nice clarity on the first pour. Orange gold body. Thin white halo of head. Poor retention and lace.

S - Great nose. Funky hops. Bright green grass. Grapefruit, orange, and citrus pith.

T - Big dried herbal hop; earthy oregano. Green plant stem. Touch of honey in the center. Dry dusty finish.

M - Appropriately light frame with great drinkability, but still enough substance to hold everything together.

O - One of the best session IPA's I've ever had. The first bottle I had about a week ago was even better, so drink this asap.

Thanks to 4DAloveofSTOUT for just giving this to me haha.

A- Clear golden in color with a short white head on top. short lived head with spotty retention.

S- Real dank, clean, citrus smelling.

T- Mimics the nose exactly. Just a bright, clean, floral/citrus hoppy beer.

M- Thin to medium-thin mouthfeel. Lower carbonation, which is surprising.

D/O- Gotta bump up the drinkability a ton on this one. It packs the hop goodness without the alcohol to go with the average IPA/craft beer. Now if we could just work on the price a little...maybe a 12pack for $12ish?

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, citrus hops, slight floral hops, hint of hop oil, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. The bitterness level is slight. Tastes of sweet malt, slight pale malt, citrus hops, slight floral hops, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and blend. Based on the name, the body is appropriately session-able.

This bottle was courtesy of a coworker.

This beer pours a light bodied and very clear yellow gold in color with a soapy lacing around the glass. It poured exceptionally clean. The nose is very light and clean but also very fragrant. My guess is Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops? It's very refreshing. Oh wow, the flavors too are very light and approachable. It's a little grassy and the hops shine. It's incredible how drinkable this beer is. It drinks light in body with a nice assertive hoppiness yet isn't dry at all. It drinks like a very light hoppy lager. I'm rather impressed. This is a perfect warm weather IPA. Founders needs to make this a summer seasonal ASAP.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a little touch of haze and a moderate effervescence. Head is a thin layer of ivory foam which dissipates quickly. It's alright.

Smell: sweet, tangeriney hops on a somewhat grainy malt background. There's almost a candy-like quality to the tangerine. Amarillos, maybe? In any case, quite enticing.

Taste: grainy malt base with some citrusy, tangeriney hops as in the aroma. A touch of sweetness backs it up. Quite tasty for a lower-ABV kind of brew. I like it.

Mouthfeel: light body with a good level of carbonation, generating a nice creaminess with a refreshing lightness.

Overall: a highly drinkable brew, I could see myself quaffing this all summer if I had the chance.

A: Washed out dirty orange shows a translucent quality with a micro-shower of effervesce. The head was milky, dirty white, thin and whispy and not withstanding long. No legs on the vessel.

S: Freshly sliced grapefruit, pulp, sweet toasty grains. What i like most is the freshness, juicy, and wet and not dry hopped.

T: Toasty backing, meets grapefruit, easy ibus, though appreciable. Slight citrus dryness, soft flowery mixing with some wet juicy lemons and toasted grains. Finishes toasty dry.

M: Some crispness, dry toasty flowery citrus, sliding off the tongue rather easily. Little hop backlash making for a smooth exit.

O: Serves its purpose well, an multiple session ipa with an easy malting and respectable smooth hopping. Probably makes good for a warm summer treat, though equally as nice as a fall beer. Solid B offering, wet upfront, toasty dry finish.

12oz bottle

Bottled on 8/9/2013 so this is a super fresh bottle.

A- Pours an ever so slightly hazed golden orangish color with an off-white head.

S- The aroma is faint malt with fresh citrusy hops.

T- The taste is light with pale malts and a nice dose of bitterness from the hops in the finish.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

O- Overall, this is a very nice sessionable IPA. It has the ABV of a light beer with the flavor of a beer twice the strength. This is a great beer for the warm Florida summers when you want something light but with a ton of flavor as well.

355ml bottle poured into tulip 28/5/12 bottle sent out by liamt07 cheers dude

A clear golden liquid with lots of slow bubbles feeding a finger of foam that quickly falls to a thin film leaving just a couple random patches of lace

S big nose on a small beer, tropical fruits, tangerine, mango, pineapple, some melon a little lemon and lime with some faint pine and some caramels

T a slight herbal aspect with a little more pine and rind then I could smell, still solid but the nose was better

M somewhat light but far from thin, good pinprick carbonation a little grit left behind on my gums

O pretty nice offering that I could drink all day, a session ale indeed, not a big palate wrecker but very easy to drink and lots of hop character

no complaints with this one other then the fact I can't find it in my home town, thanks again liamt07 for sending me this one

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on March 3, 2013

It begins with a copper-amber pour with hints of olive and a small, white head that settles to a ring. The clarity is excellent.

You cannot miss out on the aroma because of its overwhelming floral and piney hop essence. You get it as soon as the bottle cap is off and before it is even in the glass. The grainy malts are more subtle.

The body falls into the medium range but it deteriorates into fizz on my tongue.

The taste begins with a quick burst of grainy malts and then evolves quickly into a moderate hop bitterness that lingers passionately to the end. I won't forget that. A nice IPA.

Clear, light bronze in color. Maybe just a little haze. Good bubbling, nice head and foam.

Rsiny, citric ip bitterness aroma with some cracker, toasted malt aroma. Hop dominatnt for sure. Crisp and clean too.

Grapefruit and lemon peel bitterness to the point of being a little metallic. A little toasted, water cracker malt in the middle. But mostly astringent mouthfeel with a little metallic twang.

Easy to drink and refreshing. Had one after mowing the lawn today.

Pours a bright gold with a huge head into my glass. Looks to be well-carbonated too with lots of bubbles and a touch of lacing.

Smells like fresh mowed grass with a light citrus kick. The malt has a buttery edge to it too. Very interesting. 4.7%? Must be flavorful.

Right on the money. Buttery malt mixed in with citrus and light pine notes. Chewy. Kind of like a regular pale ale in a sense.

Lingering butteriness and pine from the hops make up the mouthfeel here. Carbonation is surprisingly subdued and aids in a trouble-free swallow.

I think it could use more hops but otherwise, you'd be just as well off drinking an APA. I think Otter Creek and Lawsons Finest have better examples.
